How Plants Survive
Plants need sunlight, carbon dioxide, water and chlorophyll to make food. Plants should be planted where it can get sunlight. Plants get sunlight from the Sun. Plants should be watered everyday. Plants make food in the daytime. The leaves make food. Chlorophyll is found in the leaves.
The name of the process where plants make food is called photosynthesis. For example, an orchard of peach trees carry out photosynthesis. If plants can photosynthesise, you will get agrove of healthy trees growing. Plants give out oxygen when they photosynthesise. Plants get water from the soil. Plants suck in water through their roots. If you add fertilizers to the soil, the trees will come up roses. The flowers will grow as fresh as a daisy. A plant is as delicate as a flower if it does not get enough water, carbon dioxide and sunlight. If plants are placed in dark places, it will wither and die. Gardeners enjoy gardening because he who plants a garden plants happiness.
Planting trees provide a new habitat for insects to live in. There are many benefits for planting new trees. One generation plants the trees another gets the shade.
