Travel to Space
Recently, I had the opportunity to travel to space. Before my trip to space, I had to participate in a five day space camp to prepare for my space trip. The camp was at NASA.
What was challenging during the camp was the type of training received because many have never experienced it before. Although it was challenging but where there's a will there's a way. To go to space, I must have good health, wide knowledge in Science and leadership skills. I had to prepare myself by exercising and eating healthily before I hit the road. I was selected because not everyone could go because there were certain criteria to meet. They trip took place during my school holidays.
I went with a shower of meteorologist because birds of a feather flock together. As the saying goes tell me who you go with I will tell you who you are. My family and friends were as proud as a peacock to know about me being selected for the trip to space. I should be as brave as a lion because there are lots of things up there which might happen and take me by surprise. I had to prepare for any dicey situation. In space, there are lots of risks and danger. I want to travel to space because it is interesting to explore. I have never visited outer space before and I wanted to bring back a wealth of information to share with others.
When I was in the rocket, I grinned like a Cheshire cat because I was happy and excited. The rocket's sound went"Zubababaaaa" when it wanted to take off. When the spacecraft separated itself from the rocket it made a "Whoooosh"sound. The journey was three days long. When I saw the outer space from the spacecraft, I felt as free as a bird. I saw a constellation of stars. The stars were twinkling. I thought that it was an amazing sight. I tool many pictures of the constellation of stars to show them to my friends and families.
I felt happy when the was over I was happy when the trip was over. I would encourage children of my age to experience space travel because it can make a huge difference in their lives.
