Descriptive Essay: An Enchanted Forest 

          There is an enchanted forest that no one knows of. It is still here today and will always be here. The entrance into the forest from the outside world is through an oak tree. The forest expands until half of the world.

          Strange happenings often take place in the enchanted forest. It is a far cry from the outside world. There are trees the colour of lava as well as some green trees. The birds chirped happily.

          It was discovered in ancient times when the mythical creatures such as pixies and flying bunnies had nowhere to live anymore. The forest belongs to a wise wizard. He has been ruling the forest for more than five hundred years. Certain plants and nearly all the animals can talk. A happy lullaby is played all the time
throughout the forest.

          Some speedy search in the enchanted forest for the fortune favours the bold. Behind the groves of trees were a range of high mountains made of ginger bread of brown hues. Water in rivers and lakes are as clear as crystal, birds that flew above are as light as a feather.

          No one has stepped foot into the forest because the entrance is well hidden up until today. No human has been there but if one finds the enchanted forest he may never be seen nor heard again! He may shuffle around here and there but will never know where to go. Terror struck dark woods is part of the enchanted forest. Whispers about the dark woods have it that it is slimy and dirty with the smell of flames. Smoke pumping into everyone's nostrils. Whoever dares to come out of the woods are at the stake to be burnt alive!

          In conclusion, stay away from the dark woods. Curiosity kills the cat.
