Dear Brandon

How are you? Hope you doing fine. I have been in Botswana for three weeks to apply for a job as a teacher in a school. The school is in Botswana. I visited the school because the principal invited me. I visited the school when they were having their end of term assembly. Aside from the official invitation, the thought of having lots of cakes, fizzy drinks and sweets after the assembly was simply irresistible.

There was a lot of accomplishment made by the school this term. I was awed by the accomplishments of the school. The school has done many events in the previous academic year. A tremendous effort was out in by the teachers in the school. The teachers organized all the events like the trip for the football team to play a match in Ghanzi, which was 600 miles away.  The parents were pleased about the school’s academic achievements and sports triumphs. The events in the assembly left me awed and amazed about the school and its students.

I was intrigued to stay and work as a teacher because I found the school to be a very enjoyable place to work in and wanted to help it grow even more. However I have some concern about the next school term. They are:

1.The school might not be as great as I thought
2. My salary scale could be lower then my expectations
3. My duties as a teacher could be more demanding
4. The school is moving to a new area next term which could be too far away and isolated to go to.

I will update you on the latest development.

Hope to hear from you soom
Yours truly
Adam
