Dear Parents, Guardians and Fellow Coachees,
Half the year has passed. At this juncture, it is time to look back and evaluate our deliverables in the past half year, to guide us in moving forward towards achieving
the goals we have set.
Moving in tandem with The Learning Coach’s mission to add value to create a holistic independent learner, this second issue of The Learning Exchange will give an insight into The Learning Coach’s strategy and milestones it aims to chart out to deliver its goals.
The pursuit of developing and enhancing one’s skills, knowledge and attitude is a lifelong quintessential process to becoming a holistically developed individual. In today’s world where knowledge breeds knowledge, being holistically developed would mean having to continuously search for knowledge independently. And to be an independent learner, one needs to capitalise on a tool that enables him to learn independently – technology!
Analogically, technology is like a fisherman’s rod, net or trawler, playing a similar role to fish. However, instead of fishing in the deep blue sea, technology enables one to instantaneously source for, capture and archive the right knowledge from the ‘sea’ of information and bring it along anytime, anywhere.
Living in technological age, there is no escapade from letting technology seep into our daily life. Besides, technology too is pushing us into the boundary of learning to learn. In embracing the paradigm shift, The Learning Coach adopts the integration of technology in coaching knowledge, skills and attitude.
Technology – the way to Fish!
Thank you.
Warmest regards,
The Learning Coach
