My Trip to The North Pole

My Trip to The North Pole

Last September, I went to the North Pole. The journey was vey long. When I arrived at the North Pole, I was amazed by the beautiful sight. My best friend gave me the idea of going to the North Pole.I went there with a flock of space tourists. The temperature was  -28 degrees Celcius.

I wanted to go there because I wanted to see snow. I wanted to experience sleeping in an igloo. I also wanted to see if Santa Clause really exists in the North Pole. The picture is the only way to prove that I went to the North Pole because I could not buy any souvenirs like keychains or T-shirts to take home. I brought a flag representing my country. I planted the flag to take a picture to prove my trip to the North Pole. A picture paints a thousand words. Planting a flag will be like a icing on a cake because it was the highlight of the trip. I wanted to show the pictures to my family and friends.

The only thing that I could eat in the North Pole was fish that I caught from the sea. To keep myself warm, I sat by the fire and wrapped myself up in a blanket. I recorded my experience in my journal so that I can read it when I am back in my country. Among the many experiences was my snow ride which went 'SWOOSH'. I was in the North Pole for four days.

The trip to the North Pole was the best holiday ever. I  never thought that I would ever get an opportunity like this. It was unbelievable. I hope to visit the North Pole again someday.
