26, Mannheim Road
Mannheim, England

Dear Thomas,
Last weekend, I went to my Grandma's house
with my mother and brother. We set off early morning. We took my father's
invention, which was a car to my grandmother's house. It was a wooden structure
more similar to a horse carriage.
The journey was from Mannheim
to Pforzheim. It was 65 miles long passing through hills of Black Forest. The
journey was long and troublesome. It was the first road trip for invention.
During the journey, the part that I liked best was when we were short of
gasoline. We needed gasoline to run the engine. Gasoline was used for removing
stains but we
used
it to run the invention. We solved the problem by going to the pharmacy and
bought a half-gallon of gasoline. The pharmacist was surprised when we bought
half-gallon of gasoline which was all of his remaining stock. Gasoline was sold
in small bottles because it was very expensive. The pharmacist
created a history by becoming the first gas station in the world.
We felt relieved to know that the car could
finally move on. We finally arrived at my grandmother's place safe and sound in
the evening.
Yours sincerely,
Richard
