The Lucky Draw

Last Sunday night, Mr Lee's family attended a dinner. It was held at Green Diamond Hall. The dinner started at seven in the evening. Mr Lee's friend invited Mr Lee's family to the dinner. The dinner was organized to celebrate the National Day. There were many guests. There were a crowd of people in the hall. There were more than a hundred people who attended the dinner.
The guests chatted with one another in the hall. There was a troupe of dancers performing in the hall. Many types of food were served during the dinner. There were steam fish, lobsters, curry chicken and others. They chowed down their food because they were as hungry as wolf. There was a lucky draw. The number that Mr Lee had was 101 while his wife's was number 56 and his daughter, Sally, had number 77. Many people won prizes from the lucky draw.
Initially, the Lee Family was disappointed because they thought that they would not win any prizes because their numbers were not called out. Soon, the master of ceremony called out Sally's number. Mr Lee's family sighed a relief when they heard Sally's number being called out. Sally was surprised when she won the lucky draw prize because she too initially thought that the lucky draw event was hitting her below the belt. Sally won a huge television set. It was a flat plasma television. It was twenty inches long. Her family were as happy as a lark to receive the surprise.
The unexpected winning cheered her family up. They went home happily.
